I have another coffee from MW and it is fantastic.
I did not realize that this was “flavored coffee” vs the coffees natural flavor characteristics. There is a HUGE difference between the two, and this coffee just oozed the smell of moonshine vapors, despite allowing it open vent off for two days. Extreme effect on the ability to taste the natural bean, which was tainted heavy with this flavoring process. It tasted like an Irish Coffee of old. I sadly had to toss the entire bag in the trash.
****I am not 100% certain this product contains or was flavor enhanced, with alcohol in this process.****
If alcohol is used in the process to flavor beans, it should be listed in BOLD PRINT so that folks with zero tolerance for alcohol (Christians, recovering alcoholics, others) can completely and clearly avoid making a wrongful purchase.
As a Christian, I cannot ignore my moral conflict of consuming, let alone smelling this in my home what appears to be an alcohol product.
Will know better for the next time and try to avoid ANY MW “flavored” beans.
Would love a refund to apply to another great non-flavored product.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I want to assure you that none of our coffees are produced using alcohol in the roasting or flavoring process. The flavors come from natural, non-alcohol based oils, though certain combinations can sometimes give an impression similar to spirits.
I understand your concern, but since the product has already been opened and discarded, it unfortunately falls outside our return and refund policy. Going forward, if you prefer to avoid flavored coffees entirely, I’d recommend choosing from our unflavored lineup, which highlights the natural bean characteristics without added flavor oils.
