I am a big fan of "The Operator" MonkeyWerx Gourmet coffee. I decided to give Fog Navigator a try and it did not disappoint. It's a delicious way to start my morning and clear the cob webs so that I can get busy with my work day. I am enjoying the aroma in the morning as I walk to the kitchen and pour this dark roast into my favorite mug. I also like knowing that the beans are fresh and were slow roasted in the state of Texas. Delicious coffee!

What a great tasting coffee and unlike most coffees that are described almost like a wine having particular flavors and notes, I could really detect those in this. I don't think I've ever had a coffee like this. However, when I opened the bag there was hardly any fragrance of coffee beans as there has been with other Monkey coffees. I wondered if maybe the beans were old? And I had to use almost twice as many beans to get a good flavor. However, I will order it again hoping that perhaps it was just an older batch from the roaster. For me, it tasted so good it's worth another try.
Good coffee. I just wanted to try it. Extremely overpriced.
